Thats what i would give this season. Even though i stopped watching after the 2011 season. The game stopped scrums, had clubs playing at neutral venues had all games televised and expelled a club from the league!, changed the play off format and had the GF away from crowds!
Wigan where awarded the LLS even though they did not complete the season ! And to have the last play of the season rely on a try from a drop goal gone wrong and a lucky bounce proves what a game Rugby League is. I have never known a game that has changed the goal posts as much as this game. I was one of the many that stopped watching after 2011 because the game became a laughing stock to the sporting world

What a game. I thought the high tackle on Fages was the right call but it was borderline. I also thought the penalty leading to the Hardaker kick was questionable.

All in all, you’d have to be very bitter and twisted to bring the ref into that. What a game. I thought your defence was incredible and my ramblings about Fages were going to come to bite me.

I don’t mean this in a patronising fashion but no team deserved to lose it. It was an incredible game. I just wish 20 million neutrals saw what I saw.
