They'll be massively ready for this one. The GF is being played at the KC and they'll be looking to get one back for the CC QF too.

Big game and a real test of character for our lads.

They were dogged tonight. They have a lot of muscle in their squad and utilise it well from the props down to the wingers but on the flip side we have pace in abundance and can catch them on the hop when their big lads tire. They might be missing Houghton. I would expect him to have a date with the match review panel this week and that will be a huge loss to them.

Great win for them, especially after a first 15 minutes when they looked like they could be blown away by the pace which Wire came out at. They weathered that and just grew and grew. They will be a tough team to beat but you have to be confident we can get the job done.

Nerves already

Wigan are definitely the team to beat at the moment and it'll take a big step up from tonights performance to compete.
You'll be heavy favourites but hopefully it'll be a decent contest.

When Cator kicked the ball into the stand after scoring a try the commentator said that he liked the way he did it.
When Hardaker did the same last week the commentator said that he was lucky not to get ten minutes!

I only saw the final 50 minutes but Hull looked excellent. So better balanced with Connor at full back.

Just a pity both sets of fans can't attend what I'm sure will be a highly competitive and physical game.

Yeah, couldn’t believe what I was hearing last week re Hardaker, they compared it to Sezer (which was very harsh imo) but it was nothing alike, one was after a try was scored in celebration and the other was in petulance.

Hull are a big side, but I think we will have too much for them.

Saints a given for the final after that game tonight and I don’t mean that because I wasn’t impressed with Catalans. I thought they were excellent but unfortunately the man who lead their aggression, line speed and intensity in Micky Mac will be banned. How he stayed on the field was a minor mystery but how he avoided giving a penalty away was just incredible. Obviously there were no calls for a red from the Sky boys but he’ll pick up a couple of games for that with his previous record.

Thought it was a bit of a farce that game. Red cards for Mcilorum and Tomkins would have changed the game completely. Add that to the fact Leeds lost two props early and you would imagine it will be quite easy for St Helen's.

Joel deserves whatever he gets. I thought the criticism of MM was way OTT. It was without doubt a penalty but it wasn’t a high swinging arm, Dwyer was going down. I know others will disagree but I thought it was unfortunate rather than careless or reckless.
