| I am now French for a day.
I am hoping the Cats bring the cup home.
I will celebrate holding the Drapeau français
I will commiserate holding the Drapeau français
I am hoping the Wigan boys will help to get the cup to France for the first time.
Good luck Cats..

| I hope Catalan win for the games sake, it would be a great fillip for French RL. My son and I even considered trying to get a flight to Perpignan and watching the game in the city centre, I guess it would be amazing if they win.
Anyway I'm going to watch Wigan v Leeds academy at Orrell and recording the Final to watch as soon as I get back, phone off.

| I think they’ve got a decent chance, the only worry is if they come in a little undercooked with some players who have had 3 weeks off.

I bet you're gutted you didn't book it, especially after the Academy game was called off.
Perpignan will be rocking tonight.
Really chuffed for Cats and the game as a whole, great result.

| Not sure it’s good for the game but the best team won, good job they’re not gonna make the top 4 as they could easily win the grand final.

| Glad Les Cats won. Never mind history and what it might do for the game, it's Wire who lost and I won't pass on a bit of parochial rivalry and smugness!
That said I felt the video ref decision for Lineham's try was poor. Yes there was an obstruction in the build up but it involved two players who had nothing to do with the move as the ball had passed beyond either by the time they collided. Had the Wire player stopped dead in his tracks there is nothing the Les Cats player could have done to stop the move or Lineham getting in. It's not the first time this season such penalties have been given when those involved were not going to influence the outcome and I don't think the way the rule is being applied is popular with fans. I suspect even less so in Warrington tonight.

If you watch the replay I would say is foot is in touch before he slides over.

| Thought it a good call tbh once id seen the replay, yes obstruction is a daft rule but its thereby will go and have a look at the replay again to see his foots ever I though Hicks had a solid game, an unpopular view I know but he is a decent ref who gets most things right in my opinion.

| Suppose it wasn't too bad for the Wire fans that bought Catalan shirts when they played us.

I can understand why they chalked it off, as Philbin (who had a really good game) did change the direction of his run. Whether the defender was or wasn't going to get anywhere near the ball, is, at the present, all academic. Perhaps there's cause for a rule review and a change. C'est la vie as they say as the best team won. As an aside, will be interesting how Cat's accommodate Sam Tomkins with a Lance Todd winner currently wearing their full back shirt.
