| It's not their year!
Yeah, same again for me. I was told off for complaining about this during the Leigh game, but it's the same here. It's the web-cast, not the broadband connection.
Currently stuck on 40 mins, with the ball in mid-air...

| 28-20 Try for Swinton. Ends there. In the mud Wigan were their own worst enemy. Forsyth looked good though but a bit of catching practice needed by the team.

| Just heading back and I’m really glad I made the trip over. It was a really scrappy game and tempers boiled over on at least 3 or 4 occasions but that game will stand these young lads in good stead.
In terms of stand outs for Wigan, I was impressed with Woods, Paisley and Kibula. To say Shorrocks has played plenty of first team, I’d have expected him to dominate but he was pretty quiet with Woods really looking to take control.

I find this disparity really hard to understand from the IT point of view. I complained about the webcast for the Leigh game, and was told on FB (and maybe here too?) that I should re-boot my router, it's down to my internet connection, etc.
I had the same issues with this Swinton game, and I would respond as follows:
1 I have a very decent broadband connection. In fact I earn my living with it, via a VPN.
2. I regularly watch web-casts, cast TV programmes from lap-top to TV, etc, with no difficulty whatsoever.
3. Other Wigan TV stuff, ie, archive stuff, seems more or less OK ,it's just the live webcasts.
I just find it very hard to accept that Wigan TV webcasts require so much more oomph (to use the technical term! ) than literally anything else I do?
Why should Wigan TV require a router re-boot, when literally nothing else does?

| I remember from this time last year that the search engine that was being used was an issue with either explored or chrome being at fault, though not sure which. This week I lost signal for 15 minutes with the caption "This service is not currently broadcasting" but I did not bother to see if it was last year's problem.

I thought Ganson looked about 5Kg overweight and I have concerns about Woods lack of pace. Maybe he could be built up and used as a ball playing #13 ala Lockers?
Navarrete looked the best player on the pitch. Kibula was useful in spells but three handling errors is too many. Macauley Davies should really have had two tries and then made the crucial error from the Swinton drop out that gifted the ball to them and eventually led to their try late on.
I would imagine the coaching team will be disappointed with that performance in that Navarrete apart none of the other players really pushed Wane to "make a decision"
The two Swinton centres were good and could be worth keeping an eye on.

| Woods dod produce two excellent passes; one for a try and the other should have been. Which is what you want from a half.

| Interesting to note that Macauley Davies, Olly Partington and James Worthington all had a run out for Swinton today.
