| Play Burgess and Gelling at centre and keep the young wingers in situ?

Yeah probably.
Surprised Navarette hasn't been selected again.

Not for me. Why move one of the best wingers in the competition out of position and reduce his capabilities?
I'd be happy to see Gelling & Forsyth in the centres and leave Budgie where he's best.
Escare, Marshall, Gelling, Forsyth, Burgess, Williams and Tommy is a good enough back line to trouble Saints if the forwards lay the platform.

| leave budgie where he is most dangerous, he will stretch the stains defence just by his presence out wide and hopefully leave room for the centre/ 2nd row to exploit down the inside channel

Agree, I'd also leave Mickey Mac out until Monday, it maybe a bit risky to have four players in the side after long layoffs.

Isa shouldn't set foot anywhere near the centre position for the rest of his life unless there is absolutely nobody else available. He's shown the last few weeks that he belongs in the middle and was left badly exposed v Leeds and Cas. He's a 100% player but he's 100% not right in the centre.

Correct.
Joel Tomkins or Forsyth for me. I think I'd edge for Joel just due to the pressure of the occasion.

Could be just lack of practice, he's spent most of his career playing centre, only moved to the pack about 3 years ago.

He was poor at centre for Cas when he first came over so they moved him on to the wing. The same at Widnes and they eventually moved him in to what's clearly his proper position of loose forward/prop and that's when his first team superleague career took off. I don't even think he's a particularly good second row.
That's not bagging the guy but his attributes don't stack up to playing out wide. He's not the best line runner, his handling isn't great and especially in the centres his lack of pace is exposed. What he does do though is play at full throttle for long minutes and he gets off the line and hits people hard. I'd liken him to Mickey Mac in some respects and I think McIlorum himself wouldn't be any less suited to centre which sums up my thoughts on Isa playing there.
He's a good player Isa but he's a diabolical centre IMO.

he did very well against Leigh/Warrington & Hull for me in the centre position
Yes, Leeds he got caught out but guess what - Could it have a little something to do with the fact we started to miss more and more players hence the overall performances dipping.
Same argument with Tommy for me. Took a lot of stick from some when were playing with a depleted side and more importantly he was playing busted. No need to move him to 9, his performances at 7 in the first 6/7 games show what Tommy can do at 7
Anyway - I thought Forsyth showed up pretty well against Leeds and Castleford in a depleted side/showing.
I would play him Left centre (As Joel works better right side anyway). lets us go strong on Bench in Forwards with the option to move players to the Backs if needed.

| The reservation I have about Forsyth is that I simply don't think he is ready for an extended run in the side. 2 or 3 games here and there is the level he's currently at imo. Unfortunately injuries have forced Wane to pick him more that that and like most young, inexperienced players he is very quickly looking jaded.
