I would have given John Bateman the No 11 shirt and Joel 14.

No major surprises there, presumably this is confirmation that Lockers is doing another year. Bateman is a bit hard done by not having a starting shirt whilst J.Tomkins retains no 11 but it probably isn’t worth disheartening Joel over. Not a good sign for Connor Farrell that he has seemingly fallen backwards in the pecking order after his loan spell.

I've heard a little rumour over the course of the 4 nations, but there's no way he's coming over hear to play in the 39 shirt for a year. Think it's a load of rubbish now they've been announced.

With rumours Williams may struggle to make the start as well due to an op on his back. I also wouldn't be convinced Joel Tomkins will make the start looking at him struggling to walk on Grand Final night.
