Of course I didn't shout for one. It should have been though. My point is one of consistency from Referees, Sky TV and supporters. I'll wait to see if he is cited as it is virtually identical to what Farrell did, Sky chose to completely ignore it which in itself suggests bias and supporters either don't care (if that's the case why threads on several boards suggesting it was the crime of the century) or a blind enough that they only notice something when Sky tell them too.

Completely different the last angle shoes ferries makes very little contact with knees as we're notbeing lead with, he pulls then back. Fares lead with knees. Sky's last replay shows this clearly.

Odd that tho I don't think that some of the reaction to the farrell pen was a tad ott. I do think that them challenges do warrant a penalty tho as both challenges would not have affected the try being scored.

Yeah i would go along with that, I am not interested in what other teams are doing i am only interested in what Wigan are doing. What Farrell did was disgraceful and the Ferres incident was not in the same league.

What about Gidley's knees in Gildarts back on Thursday? You could see he caught Gildart by the look of pain on the lads face but nothing was done about it due to Gidley injuring his own player, Evans, at the same time.

Yup the injury seriously distracted from that.

I think.everyone likes a good physical game, but the players take enough punishment legally and more should be done to stop things like this, I thought the 8 point try would have raised awareness to it and players deterred from sliding in like that. it's otentially as dangerous as a shoulder charge,

I don't remember that one in too much detail. I remember noticing it at the time and thinking there was nothing in that one.

Ferres didn't go to ground until the ball had been put down and then slid in, knees first, virtually identical to Farrell. Both unnecessary and both worth a ban but only one got one.

I like to be fair with my assessments on game day incidents and irrespective of club loyalties
IMO this incident certainly didn't occur as you have both made out and I'm not sure what what you are both getting at TBH?

Liam Farrell is one of my favourite players and he is one who can absolutely murder sides when he is on his "natural game"
I dislike this overly aggressive & niggly side to his game that has evidently crept into his play in recent seasons
Last seasons GF and his knee's into McGuire after he scored and this seasons incident with Ratchford are prime examples of how his discipline has changed for the worse

My question is, who is to blame for Liam's sudden change of temperament and aggressive nature towards his game?
And why would they choose to change the game day skill set of a great wide running forward who can rip sides to bits and change them into a completely different type of player?

Is Liam a more effective player to our side at present as a result?

IMO the answer is a big NO and that Wane has certainly got into Liam's head unfortunately

Agree 100%, I think someone at the club said a couple of years ago that he wasn't aggressive enough.
It seems to be the mind set of the club that toughness and aggression are looked on more favourably than skill, instead of a balance between the two.

Yes, that, and also there's no reason to equate "tough and aggressive" with cheap shots.
