Anyone heard what this might be about? Announcement is on Monday. Few on Twitter suggesting we're going to play in the NRL 9s. Maybe a game in Dubai at some point? Feeder team from US?

Would go very well at 9s

Anything that gives us and the game more exposure gets my backing... Would love to see us at the 9s.

Would be good to see you win the 9s, most NRL clubs don't send a full strength squad (they'll send some of their best players but not all of them), so with a full strength team you'd have a chance. However, I can't see how a 17 team 9s competition would work, you'd have to go up to 20 teams, which creates even more questions. I'd imagine it'll be a partnership with some other teams in different countries, or something along those lines.

Probably some venture to take one of the home games next season to some far-flung country. Along with one in London.

Season Ticket holders will, of course, get free entry to the Ashgabat Stadium, Turkmenistan for the Super 8 Clash with the Catalan Dragons.

Nothing like a massive overreaction eh.

So it's a competition to win a couple match tickets essentially.

The club loves building up an underwheliming announcement doesn't it!

Joining is about as easy as watching Wigan at present
