| When fit and back in side obvious choice is tomkins back at SR but does that mean faz and tomkins start with bateman on bench to replace SOL when he needs a breather
And if bateman on bench does that mean no patrick in the 17 who has not had a decent time at wigan

| Bateman was outstanding again today. Great problem to have. I suspect Waney will give Bateman a breather once Gelling is fit. But if they are all fit Bateman and Faz must start. Faz my MoM today.

| No hooker on the bench for me with Lockers spelling at nine to get Bateman plenty of gametime. We can't make last years mistake again and start to limit Batemans time on the field because he's far too good.
Out backrow options are incredible!

| I reckon he'll return v Salford. Patrick surely to drop out when he does, I certainly never thought we were getting the raw end of the Patrick/Hughes deal but that's what has happened

It'd be tough to drop him on his showing today but he needs to keep improving. His form for us so far has been uninspiring but he looked a lot more like the threatening ball runner who's caused us problems in the past today.
Good to have options and headaches.

I agree he was much improved today against his own club, makes me wonder whether he has been giving it 100% the rest of the time to be honest. All will be forgiven if he has a stormer against Saints though!

| I think we are only gelling and club off a fully fit team now. I think Wanes headache is when Manfredi is fit, I'm a big fan of Charnley but manfredi has played better than him this year IMO. Charnley on form however is tje best winger in the competition.

Charnley has been very good this past two weeks and you can't do any more then pick the man in form. It's so unfortunate for Manfredi that he got injured when he did but like Charnley had to wait for his chance so should Manfredi until either an injury occurs or somebody loses form.
That competition is fierce! What a position to be in to have those three lads pushing each other. I genuinely believe we've got three of the best 5 or 6 wingers in the comp at the moment.
On a side note had Bowen not hit form these past two weeks I'd have tried on of those three wingers in that fullback slot.

I said a couple of years back that Manfredi would take some shifting. On this seasons form Manfredi and Burgess are the best two wingers in Super League. Just take a look at Manfredi's stats, not only for the tries he's scored but for all his defensive stuff.
I agree that if Bowen gets injured now, I wouldn't play Hampshire I'd play one of the three at full back. They are all good under the high ball, they can all tackle and can run like the wind! I'm not sure though which one would be best. Possibly Burgess because he's the best passer of a ball.

Sorry pal but charnley is definitely not the best winger in the comp, Burgess is in a different league to him for one

Actually think Dom has been our best winger this season. Charley looks over weight and not the player he was. Burgess is now in form but had a poor start to the season.

I'd probably go Burgess for the same reason but I think Manfredi would be something else in broken field.
It's a good option to have.
