| What's everyone thinking then?
I'm predicting a very long and nervous week, and a even more nervous Saturday.
Beating wire in the grand final would be the best feeling since supporting Wigan but also the worst feeling ever if we lose.
My head says Wigan 16-28 Wire
My heart says Wigan 23-16 Wire
Attendance: sell out crowd, what ever the capacity is minus a couple of thousand because of the position of the big screen. So 75,000 ish?

| Obviously my heart says Wigan but in truth, my head can't call this one it's just too close. Both teams are capable of getting the win but I think Wigan have to be the best they've been all season to win this. If we're even just a little but below par, Wire will win. I can't wait and I'm dreading it at the same time!

| Warrington 19
Wigan 24
We'll be 19-18 down after Briers kicks a drop goal with a couple of minutes left, then they'll knock on from the kick off and Flower will score in the dying seconds. Basically what I predicted before the Leeds game. I just think they've been a monkey on our backs for too long now and that will give our lads that extra bit of determination, plus we have Tomkins, Richards, McIlorum, Hansen and Farrell in the team who all have the experience of winning three major finals including one Super League.

| Head says Warrington potentially by an embarrassing margin if they steamroller us in the first 15 minutes.
However if we defend for our lives and go in pretty much level pegging at half time I think the emotion surrounding the Wigan leavers and the pressure on Warrington to get a first Grand Final win will swing the game for Wigan.
It will be tight but heart says Wigan by 8 points, sealed in the last few minutes with a penalty from halfway by Pat Richards.

| We need to be ruthless in defence to win this game. The signs are pretty good - in 7 knock out games this year (6 against Superleague opposition) we have conceded an average of less than 7 points per game.
However, Warrington are a much better team then any other we have faced imo and we'll do well to restrict them to 2/3 tries.
I'll go for Wigan 20 Warrington 14

| I think it's Warrington's time.
Hold them out for the first 20 though and we have a chance.

| We will have more points on the board than them at the end of the game. How many? I don't know or care so long as it's more.

| As much as I'd love us to beat them in the final my head is going with Wire, I'd have them as favourites personally. We have to be at our absolute best to have a chance and our track record against Wire lately doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Best day ever should Wire win but the absolute worst if we lose.
Enjoy the day.

| The first 20 minutes are vital. If we are still within 6 points at half time i fancy us to win in a yight second half. We must play error free rugby in the opening quarter and kick well.

Warrington scored early in both the first and second half of last years grand final, but leeds were never more than 6 points away. As you say, as long as theres 6 in it, wigan have the disciplined approach to win.
I'm really looking forward to it, it will be nice to just enjoy grand final day and not be crippled with nerves for once.

If Wigan hit the front with a couple of minutes to go and you hear the sound of microphones falling to the ground it will be Eddie and Stevo setting off on the fabled "Wigan Walk".

We had plenty left in the tank on Friday and wire wasn't great the night before it will all come down to both kicking games imo

| Don't worry, its ours. Big Fat Garry Scofield predicts a Wire win in the League Express, just as he predicted a Leeds win last week.
He couldn't pick his own nose with both hands.

| I think the bookies have Wire by 2. Marginal favourites but too close to call. Plenty of big game experience in both sides. I just hope it's decided by the teams and not a howler from an official.
