Nobody backed us to win a trophy at the start of the season. Some opposition fans said we would be mid-table.

Now we have won the challenge cup and I'm confident we can get to the final week of the play-offs with a fully fit squad. Not bad.

We are pretty quick to slag off Saints fans for thinking SL only started once they started winning so we need to be careful here!

The best statistic of all is 19 CC wins. No one can argue with that.

We've only won 2 less trophies than Leeds now in the summer era (CC & SL combined) and to think this has been Leeds greatest era ever.

With "two less than Leeds" you are damning us with faint praise. Who cares? RL history didn't start when the summer era did. We just added another notch to a fantastic record in the history of the sport.

You're on the Wigan board again.

The popular perception is that Leeds have been fantastic in the summer era and Wigan have had one of their poorest spells but it is still only 2 behind Leeds summer era trophy haul. As Wigan fans we shouldn't be too disheartened.

We're doing just fine. I'd throw the LLS into the mix, and go back to the start of the post Noble era. Of the 11 available trophies, we have won 5. Saints have sadly won nothing in that time.

2 trophies behind Leeds in SL era?, 2 SL Titles for Wigan, 6 Titles for Leeds, 3 Challenge Cups for Wigan in SL era and 1 for Leeds whilst Leeds have won 3 WCCs for Leeds

Have you included the Premiership wins in that trophy count? If not you should.

Granted you can only play what is put in front of you, but considering the teams you played to get into the final and the performance of Hull in the final I'd hardly say this particular cup win tells much of your title credentials.

Since 1996 on the basis that there are three trophies - League Winners/LLS, C Cup & Prem/GF

By my reckoning Leeds have 9 trophies and Wigan 11.
Leeds 2 LLS, 1 C Cup and 6 GF's.
Wigan have 4 LLS, 3 C Cup & 4 Prem/GF.

Anyone else with similar details?

We don't need to compare ourselves with Leeds, as, aside from the recent run which is coming to its end, they have never been much cop as a team.
We've nothing to fear from Leeds.
The one team I'm not sure about is a fully fit Wire, but even there they look to me like a team on the wane.

We've just won the cup, again, and not another club in the land can hold a candle to our record.

I agree. The cup has been the same format ever since it started hasn't it? A knock-out competition. The league has changed format several times. Era's make more sense there I suppose though personally I still don't like the idea.

The cup is the cup. We have won it 19 times. Nuff said.

But there is also the WCC as well to which Leeds have won 3 in the SL era
