On a serious note its a shame to see JJB go but its completely expected its been absolute tosh for a good few years now and they didnt seem to want to change that so this was always going to be the outcome. They shouldve tried to take on shops like JD and get towards the more "fashion" trainer market but they didnt they tried to be over specialised like the GO Outdoors of sports shops and it didnt work for them as Sports Direct did it better for less.

So sad to see it finally go.
Had a number of family members work for the chain over the years, from bottom to top.

An awful lot of wrong has been done for a number of years.

Spoke to my old boss and apparently there was no 2 week grace or anything. They were called into a room and told to go home.

I wasn't hinting at anything positive.
All i will say is, he has had an interest in the company much longer than the recent negative decline..

I hope that one day the truth comes out and people are made responsible for what went on but I won't hold my breath.

Had shares in them a while ago they were due for a takeover but it fell through and after that the company went from one crisis to another the only thing surprising about it is that it so long for them to finally go
