The paranoia about linking to youtube reaches new highs. Not even a link to promotional material, you would think that's to be encouraged by the RFL.

Is the video to advertise the play offs if so why is the an Hull KR player in the video i had to check the video twice to make sure my eyes were not playing trick on me.

I don't think it is to advertise the playoffs. I just think it's to advertise RL in general. I think it should be done at the start of the season though rather than with less than 3 weeks left.

My mistake. It is advertising the playoffs. Strange that Karl Temata is in it as well.

From what I gather the posters/player aspects are for the playoffs, the video is SL in general. Plus the whole deal is some form of pilot, which I hope they run with next season - they are really quite good.

Slightly worrying you've only noticed the one player in the video out of place - didn't realise London were in the playoffs!

PS Those posters would've looked alright on some lorries

Something unexpected from the RL it was mentioned during the FC v Giants game I wondered what Hemmings was going on about when he was talking about Crabtree pushing a skip.

A step in the right direction for the RFL in terms of marketing the game, it's time they got their heads into the 21st century and started to optimise the marketing strategies available to them. The whole Stobart deal was hopefully a wake up call to them.

It's a really good effort from the RFL but surely rather than just advertising the play offs once they have started it would've been more beneficial leading up to them or even pre season for genreal SL ???

They need to get the advert on TV and not during matches. If a none viewer of RL seen that advert I'm sure they'd be very interested in watching a game. Showinv it only during matches would be a waste, we already know how "extraordinary" our players are. Its time everyone else knows.
