No... Unquestionably talented, but on balance would rather we got an experienced player nearing the end of his career to bridge the gap for when the youngsters come through.

This was talked about last week. I heard it was a done deal and in time to make his debut in the Hull derby on Monday. I'm glad he's not coming to Wigan. I do think he's a very good player but he's got trouble written through him like Blackpool is written through a bar of rock!

His current work visa is for his job at castleford he needs a new one because he's starting a new job. McGoldrick had to get a new one for his switch aswell.

Put simply Chase is a Kiwi who chose to represent England as he qualified on the grounds of residency. He is not English or from the EU, as such requires a visa to work in this country. Visa's are given conditionally and linked to their job and employer. If Chase or anyone else wishes to change either his job or employer then he must apply for a new visa.

Nothing to do with RL or which country he chose to represent, just the law.
