Burrow ran rings around us and Sinfields kicking game was probably the best I have seen. Even with our recent successes, I still feel that we don't have a very good kicking game!

Deacon is the best we have had in the last 3 years.

Lets hope Smith has one.

Delaney was my man of the match, we couldn't handle him at all.

And that tells us all we need to know about our defensive display.

I thought sinfield walked the man of the match, his kicking was top class, he pinned Wigan back for most of the game and Wigan started their sets in thier own 20.

IMO its the one way to beat Wigan but not many players can put in a kicking game like sinfield did today to make that happen.

In true Team GB style, I've just dropped it.

Burrow's an absolute nightmare to play against on that form.

Sam didn't know where he was a couple of times with Burrow.

Burrow played like he did in last years Grand Final. I think he'll definitely get more game time after that display.

is this the same sinfield everybody thinks is **** for englnd? haha

They think that not because he is bad but because he is played out of position by mcbanana.

Problem is he is so inconsistent, like most of the Leeds team.

Yes that's him, great club player, especially when he is allowed to play in his dinner suit like today, but unable to translate this to the international game.

I always get the impression that Sinfield would make a very good Union player.

They were both outstanding. Pound for pound they are up there with the best.

Delaney, ably supported by Ian Kirke (unbelievable, but true), caused Wigan a plethora of issues.

We couldn't handle Delaney and Sinfield kicked us off the park. As for Burrow, when that lad starts running he is almost impossible to stop!

Sinfield gets picked for England because he provides a kicking game and general sense of control in the middle of the field, not because he makes killer passes or breaks. The plan then is to augment him with a real gamebreaker type player - i.e. Chase. TBH its a real indictment on the quality of other British 'halfbacks' around that he gets picked at 6 on that basis.

He is **** for England. Unless **** means 'good' or anything else remotely positive.

I thought most of our pack were pretty impressive. JJB had a slight off day, but that is so out of character I'm prepared to overlook it.

Sinfield is anything but inconsistent, he is just rarely flash. He does the same job for England, it just depends whether you think that's the right job.

THought Sinfield summed it up pretty well after the game. We were trhe better side on Saturday and deserved our win (got some decidedly dodgy decisions along the way, but still deserved it), Wigan remain the best team in the league and we'll still have to improve to get the job done in October.
