We lose an awful lot in attack with either of those two compared to O'Loughlin who is an extra playmaker which they are not. We have no other real choice though.

Since we need to find a new halfback for next season to replace Leuluai, surely the most sensible option is to play a halfback who could replace Leuluai next year? Mellor can be recalled and played against Widnes and given a chance to impress. It seems like the ideal chance to test a potential option for next year.
