Similar to Unions Riki Flutey within 4 years he played for and against the "prestigious" British and Irish Lions, shows how the residency rule is making international sport less credible year on year. I like how in football a player must declare for a nation and they can't switch, but still it doesn't stop better footballing nations claiming lesser nations players.

I can accept Reed wanting to play for England as he could have played for Queensland and maybe Aus but decided on us, Heighington only selected England due to him not being good enough for SoO or Aus, same with Chase and the Kiwis, same with Manu as he won't really get the chance to play against Aus or NZ.

I'd go as far as to say if Ian Henderson was good enough he would still be in the NRL and would choose Aus over England any day, selections like that make a farce out of the shirt no matter how good the player is.

It's akin to Wayne McDonald, Dennis Moran, Karl Pryce and Oliver Wilkes having the audacity to pull on the famous cherry and white jersey.

Wasnt that rule in when we played last year??? I thought it was exempt this year as Super League clubs arent playing on that weekend????
