Was due to be played at Orrell on Saturday Afternoon but due to the first team cup tie the Under 20s Wigan v St Helens match will be played at Orrell on Friday Night.
Kick Off is 6:00pm due to lack of floodlights.

It's The lack of a bar that's a bigger concern than it going dark for me.
All that money spent.
It's a great facility but nof having a bar was daft.
I'd even settle for a load of ice cold plastic bottles.
Must be missing out on a load of money.

Very true. There can be around 1,000 people in attendance for some of these games. Not only would it add income, it would also encourage people to go and have a drink there rather than in the pub. |

Seems like a predictable fall from the top of the u20's tree is starting to happen which is totally understandable. We've been the best side at that level for years and have churned out player after player but the clubs not going to keep replacing them year in year out especially when you get a good few moving up or going out on loan all at once.
Thankfully we've got more then enough to service the first team now and with a cracking u18's side coming through we'll be fine.

The 20s just look a mess to me. A mixture of players playing first team, injury to Sam Powell (massive) and 11 having been out on dual-reg/loan at one time or another has just left an unsettled team. It's a hard task to deal with all that I suppose.

I agree.
To be fair Saints kicking game was far better than Wigans, and they exposed our left hand side defence for all four of their tries. |
