Seeing all over twitter that Wigan fans coaches has been bricked AGAIN. This is just ridiculous, it's not the 70/80s anymore I can't believe people still do this. Nothing short of scumbags and along with the rip off of the price structure for away fans I will never visit that place again. Worst club ever.

Noticed 2 coaches pulled over about half a mile away from the stadium and wondered what had gone on.

As I said in another thread, it does seem to be a bit of tradition with regards to visits to the Hull clubs. It seemed to be an annual event back in the 80's and 90's, and still happens today.

Sorry to hear about the coaches and it should not be happening nowadays. hopefully the mindless idiots responsible are caught.

I actually sympathise with the decent hull fans but I personally will not be going there until things change.

Wigan fans are taking certain stick of late because of the brigantes singing in the street with a big flag but I'd rather our fans be doing that than things like this.

It's been a couple of years now since I went to a Wigan away game in Hull. I used to go to The Boulevard andte KC stadium, but still have images in my head of some of their scrubber fans foaming at the mouth whilst throwing objects at us and coaches, and spitting at us.That and the over priced ticket prices makes my mind up with regards to whether i go or not.

feel sorry for the good Hull fans because your pricing structure and coaches getting attacked year on year are putting alot of Wigan fans of making the trip and keeps money out your club. Literally hundreds of Wigan fans refused to go today over them 2 issues.

Was going to ask where it happend and if any of the gits actually had FC shirts on,if they did,id gleefully string them up by the bolloxs from the wnorth stand and let you deal with them,if they arent wearing FC shirts then im sorry its happend and how can you blame the club for this.As for people saying about the price structure,not our doing.

It's not quite as sweet and innocent as the poster painted it. Walking down the middle of the street stopping and holding up traffic, faces on some covered by scarfs committing section 5 public order offences shouting and swearing in saints slagging off the town of saint Helen's.

Not quite throwing bricks at coaches but not all sweetness and light either!

Just to clarify i called those involved Scum in case of misunderstanding as there are decent fans for most teams, but at the risk of sounding big headed and getting into some kind of contest most clubs fans know that Wigan are one of if not the best Away supported club in the Country so when incidents like this occur year on year wether it be coaches being attacked or ticket prices (on this occaision) fans will refuse to attend and thus it will just make the Hull Club look bad as i'm sure it happens with other visiting supporters perhaps something can be done about it perhaps not I honestly don't know, Either way its poor for the sport as a whole because it makes us look like we are no different to Football fans which is clearly not the case as with Rugby fans no matter what the occaision you can have a respecful chat with opposition fans after any result despite the banter that goes on here whereas Football are more likely to knock seven shades out of each other after a game.

where were the buses stoned? when we left the stadium there wasnt any damage to them so i'm assuming it must've been on the way out of hull? regardless where it was it still will get people tarring all hull fans with one brush!

Quite agree with your post and as i was walking out the stadium with my young daughter towards your coaches i was approached by 6 or 7 mindless Wigan supporters goading the Hull supporters a bit like you would see at football. Shame really. Rather too much overpriced alcohol or testosterone fuelled idiots. Anyway well played good win for you today as expected.

Maybe its the same hull fans who spat at their own cheerleaders as reported on the hull fc website, that bricked the wigan coaches.! SCUM.

Whichever mindless morons did this bricking it saddens me we are all tarred with the same brush.I had quite a decent chat with a couple of Wigan fans on the way out of the ground ,no problem whatsoever.
If the nut jobs could be caught I would be the first to applaud if they got a good hiding.

Thats what u pay at a state of the art stadium , and one of the biggest away supported teams haha your suppose to eat the pies not smoke them we will double your away numbers in the return fixture
