I love it when I hear an opposition coach talk like that. If you don't acknowledge your weaknesses and the opposition's strengths you can't fix the former or counteract the latter in future. Let's hope his tears continue to blind him for the rest of the season.

I thought it was briliant the way he showed himself to be a bitter poor loser. If he looks at the interview himself he will see how childish he made himself look , he needs to man up and accept the better team won.

Music to my ears hearing a Saints coach give his lads excuses for poor performance. It's something Maguire cut out here at Wigan and Wane is looking to carry on.

At the end he had to hold back the tears.

From what i have heard (from within the club), he's not particularly liked by a lot of the players, but i'm sure they would jump through hoops for KC though.

After the Leeds game he came into the Masons (Old Mo's) Arms in Billinge. The Saints fans in there all started to clap him.

To be honest, it doesn't say much for the man that he's apparently happy to have been chosen to fill in until someone better comes along.

If he'd had any pride, especially after the first couple of games, you'd at least expect him to have wanted to have a go at the job full time. But no, seems he's content to be a patsy.

Not really, I think he sees much more longevity in the role that he was doing and he does seem to have a talent in that job. A head coach role has a very limited shelf life no matter who or where it is.

There are lots who won't take on the top job because it's tougher. Rush is not alone in that. Pretty much what I was saying, really. He still needs to man up.

He'd also better hope than when Brown arrives, he doesn't have his own idea for assistant coaches. He wouldn't be the first coach in RL history to have a clear-out of the old regime.

Paul, I know quite a few young players who detest him.

I have no idea Brian, been a few years since I stopped playing and no longer know any of the younger players who would have dealings with him. I know little about him but given the crop of home grown players in recent years its fair to assume he does a decent job. I dare say Alex Ferguson has upset a few players in his time !

It was poor form for him to conduct himself like that on TV. Even the little lads who play are taught how to conduct themselves when they lose. And of course, for us opposition fans, watching the Saints coach throw his toys out of the pram like that is just the icing on the cake.

Mind you, I can't ever see a job for Rod Studd in the diplomatic service, his post-match questions for the losing team seem to be selected with the sole purpose of rubbing salt into the wound.

He'd have been better off telling Sky he wasn't available for interview as he was a complete embarrassment grunting and growling but hilarious from our point of view. Having just looked at the you tube clip of McDermott's after game vitriol it is hard to choose between them for worst loser of the weekend

All round, it was a pretty poor showing from St Helens on Good Friday. The only good thing to say for them was their chairman's sensible points in the programme, but for everyone else in the organisation it was amateur night.

There was NEVER a 5 nil penalty count to Wigan.

Wouldn't suprise me if there was first half. Wigan had a number of penalties before Saints got one hence the ironic cheers when we did get one. Whether it was 5 nil I couldnt say.

It was 4 - 0 when Saints got the first one. I would imagine sitting through the Sky+ would be a little difficult, or has the delete button already been hit?
