Who do we want to win here. Common sense dictates we want Saints to win, to knock Wire off top, but, do we really want Saints getting up a head of steam for next week?

Personally i'd like a Saints win, but, with Roby taking a knock so he doesn't play next week!

I like the idea of a brawl, reports and bans, but our lads took a lot out of the Wire last week and it will surprise me if they can sustain it against a resurgent Saints side who rolled over Leeds with apparent ease... Saints by 10.

leeds didnt turn up tho any1 would of beat them last week its not saints were that good leeds were that bad wire by 8 i think

I think your being harsh there, Leeds were 'poor', but Saints put a lot of pressure on them early and disrupted their game-plan, got them on the back foot and never them settle , we should find out more about St Helens tonight though.

Really? I'd have thought you'd want to beat us at our best. I won't mention you hoping that one of our players gets injured though, as I'll assume you were joking.

I want to see Saints win, although I think Wire will probably sneak it. Although If they play like last week and saints can keep their composure then who knows. Should be another belting game though.

Makes you wish our game was Sunday and you could watch it live, I'll try and not hear the result and record the game but I'm sure someone will let it slip.

It's like being stuck between a turd and another turd! I don't want stains going into next week having hammered Leeds and done Wolfs at home. We are not consistent enough yet and we don't have the right air of confidence about us.
On the other hand pulling 2 points back from wire would help us. Tough call but I can never want stains to win. Draw with em battering each other will do!

Interesting how most would like to see a Saints win against us. I realise we're above you in the table slightly. However, if the rivalry you have with them is 'far' greater than the one with us - which people on here are quick to claim - then surely you'd love to see nothing more than the mighty Saints languishing outside the top 8 for another week? Then if you give them a good friday tonking, their season could be effectively over in terms of reaching the top 4.

I want wire to win because I hate saints more.

I want saints to win because thats what we need in terms of the competition.

What we need should come above any rivalry. Saints to win for me.

Arrogant of you to assume that we see you as anything other than another team in the competion. We are looking at your game with them purely in tactical terms. They will be far more pumped up for next week and you should ask them which game they want to win the most. I can tell you, it won't be against you. Saints win for me.

Ideal scenario is a draw with Warrington getting a last minute score to level it. That means if we win at Salford we would be 2 behind Warrington with better points difference and also Saints will be a bit down after letting it slip in the last minute

Saints for me. I do prefer it when they lose in general of course but not at the expense of us catching Warrington up

Got a feeling Wire will give them a bit of a battering tonight.

I just can't ever bring myself to want a Saints win, whatever the league positions say.

Warrigton have developed a tendancy of losing the game after the wigan game and I think this has been the case for the last couple of years (I know Catalans beat them one year?)

Saints confidence will be up and the warrington lads where involved in a brutal game last week, saints had it all their own way against leeds.

No Ben Westwood for Warrington either and he will be a huge miss for them.

All signs point towards a saints win for me.

Cant see it, as good as Saints were last week I think Warrington are a far superior side to Saints, even without Westwood the Warrington pack will dominate what looks to be a very average Saints backrow, Monaghan and Briers will run riot off the back of that and kick Saints to death, IMO Wire will have to an off night for Saints to beat them.
