Soon as I heard it I thought the same. They are pro RL players so I'd be dissapointed if they'd get put off by something like that but it just shows how desperate Bradford are!

Everything about that club is embarrassing at the moment.

I remember my first few trips to Odsal, always going with low expectations. Usually expecting to lose. Vainakolo running riot against us. Vagana and Anderson Dominating our pack. Classy backs down the years including Hape and Harris scoring points for fun. 2007 is the last time I remember going to Odsal expecting to lose, we won 31-30, the greatest comeback of all time. Since then I find myself travelling to Odsal with a similar feeling I have of going to Salford or Wakey, you expect to win, anything less is a poor performance. We used to fear going to Odsal, now it is just a regular game infront of a regular crowd. What on earth has happend to that club!

Bradford are a sleeping giant though, I hope they return.

Everytime Bradford kicked off, they played music and a BOOM at the end to try and put our players off from catching it.

You expect things like that from fans but this was coming from the clubs PA system, just thought it was quite unprofessional. I'll say this with confidnence, our club wouldn't do that.

Didn't do them any good in the end, but a ruling needs to be made.

What's the difference between this and the allegations (again against Bradford) a few years back, regarding them having 2 differently inflated sets of balls - One for them and another for the opposition when it came to kicking penalties (although how they swapped them, I have no idea).

Anyway. IMO, you cannot be allowed to do this.

(Although Saints did appear to do it with their score-board at KR. At times when the opposition were attacking the score-board end, it appeared to start flashing, although I never paid quite enough attention to prove that one way or the other).

You're right it shouldn't be allowed. Unsportsmanlike, unprofessional and on top of thatch it's fscking annoying.

it was funny becase it didnt work but its times just as the player is about to catch the ball not when the ball is kicked. As Bilko said in his match report id gladly hear it another ten times the next time we play there.

I did think the Bratford team announcment was a bit OTT took about half an hour was like a chart run down

This has caught on from the RU sevens curcuit and was evident during the RU world cup. If clubs are going to introduce these gimmicks then it needs to be for both teams.

As a basic rule, anything borrowed from the French RU is a bad, bad idea.

Its silly but i think it made our lads more determined to catch it

I think the jingle/tune is regularly used in cricket as well. Mostly in the sub continent, ive heard it a few times watching games from there.

The music was very unprofessional, but did have me laughing towards the end. I bet they didn't expect to be playing it that many times!

The Bulls player intros were also funny!

Everything about Odsal is embarrassing IMO. The announcement of the team, the music when penalties are given, that music at ko and the whole childish carnival atmosphere in general. Not there fault, but you can go mid July and it'll still be freezing cold.

It was all pretty embarrassing, It sounded like Chorley FM had turned up to do the announcements!
