| i once ventured into the reception at Hull KR post match 2008 pished up and stumbled into Tim Smith and i was demanding to see Nobby to come out and explain the performance he was responsible for 
Tim shat himself and ran off to get Richie Mathers and Eamonn o Carroll, he musta thought i was from the moon, very odd lad.. 
seriously though, he is a very talented player, you could tell from the day he made his debut (against hudds 34-4 loss at home i know ) he had quality.. shame it never worked out for him.

| Every time I hear of Tim Smith's name I immediately think of time he was trying to tackle Peter Fox whilst his arm was dislocated, about as good as an effort as he would of done with two arms
I've no problems with him though after his time at Wigan. IMO he has the potential to be a great creative half back and at a team like Wakefield could go really well. Unfortunately though his defence was a problem and at Wakefield it's only going to be highlighted even more, at least at Wigan we had players who could help him out. |

The main problem with Tim Smith and Trent Barrett when at Wigan was the fact that Noble coached them and gave them no options. Both are very creative halves who can pick a pass better than most in the world, Noble gave them no options and no runners.
What both those players especially Barrett under Madge would have been frightening. Problem with Smith is he is now at a club coached by Richard "one out" Agar.
