When you were the worst team in the league last season, rather than blaming the playing and coaching staff, it's easier to change back to the name you had when you were equally crap and unsucessful.

Or perhaps a marketing ploy to make themselves seem different from the established RU brand by the same name?

They were more successful in their London Broncos period than half of the rest of the current Superleague clubs.

In their ten Superleague seasons as London Broncos they only finished outside the top eight twice.

Regardless of their poor performance over the last few seasons, it great to see what is essentially an RU affiliated club return back to a rugby league identity

I genuinely hope they prosper, no matter what name they are going by. I also hope they remain at the Stoop because it is one of the easiest grounds for me to get to (its certainly a lot easier than the trek up to Wigan every Friday night) and it has the best bar. I think I read somewhere that they are staying at the Stoop for the coming season and then trying to negotiate a further deal at the ground.

I doubt they will take a big name on the road. That would be suicide given they are negotiating 2-3 more years at the Stoop
