all clubs have got players retiring, going back to Oz, going to union/nrl

but which team will be affected most, and which single player will be hardest to replace.

Joels replaceable, so is Hoff and Coley. Deacs will be our biggest loss imo.
James Graham will be hard to replace at Stains, but they'll find one, like they usually do.

but imo the player hardest to replace will be Danny Buderus .......rhinos will miss him, and there arnt many quality hookers around, and i dont think they have anyone ready to fill his boots

Tomkins hasn't left yet and I won't say anything about it until I've heard something official.

I'll miss Coley the most. He's put in a few good years for us

Hoff by an absolute mile, the way he linked up with finch was brilliant. He played for the shirt as well, loved him.

Clint Newton for us

Definatley Graham for us, not sure if we will replace him this season aren't many good props around.

For us Coley without doubt. He's been a real pack leader for us.

Joel playing as a centre won't be a huge loss. What is huge is losing him as the Hoffs replacement. If we'd have slotted him back in the second row he's as good as Hoffman on his day.

For the whole league James Graham is the biggest loss. He's a loss to both saints and superleague.

It'll be a loss to super league and rugby league, never good to see players go to union.

Of course I just think as a centre he's wasted.

Joel leaving is a bigger blow to the sport then just losing a good player. It's another shot in the arm for Union and it puts them in a ultra strong position when it comes to trying to get Sam across.

Now that would be a sad day!!!

James Graham at Saints. A player you simply cannot replace. His work ethic is staggering. Absolutely staggering. Huge loss.

At Wigan our biggest loss for me is Martin Gleeson. We could kill for a decent strike centre. The defensive/attacking partnership of Carmont and Richards has little weaknesses. Joel Tomkins/Josh Charnley were frequently targeted and struggled at times in attack. Imagine having had Gleeson/Charnley with Carmont/Richards on the other wing. Frightening.

Paul Deacon is the other massive loss. Just because we don't have another halfback with his ability at the club/signed up. If Joe Mellor is to be given the halfback role then he has a lot of weight on his shoulders at such a tender age.

This is very true. The pair of them were certainly on the same wavelength.

However we knew he might leave after 12 months and so I think we were probably going to put Joel back in the pack and so Joel will be missed.

I think people have forgotten just how good a back row forward Joel is and how good he was in 2010.

Mind you even if the club were planning to keep him at centre for 2012 his going would still be a loss because we have not addressed the centre issue so far.
