Dont know if this has been mentioned somewhere already but at last it looks like we've freed up squad space and cash by getting rid of the dead weight Pryce he's tweeted to stu howarth he needs to sign for someone as theyre talking about when they go back for training

The lad just doesn't have the heart to be a top quality rugby league player.

So with Pryce, O'Carroll, Davies, Hoffman, Coley and possibly Deacon and Joel Tomkins gone I think it's safe to assume us fans are expecting a quality addition or 2 (and I don't mean Thomas, Lauaki or Flower).

I trust IL . He s done everything right upto now and i dont think hes been in Austraila other month for nothing so fingers crossed there is good news today

I can't say this news had cheered me up a great deal. It'll take a lot more to get me out of this rugby related slump I'm in.

The problem always comes down to who is out there who will make the squad better. And Pryce is a much wasted talent. Shame really.

With more application he could have been in the very top group of players in World RL.

I really had high hopes for him and have been proven totally wrong.

Hasn't IL recently returned from Australia? Surely he wasn't over there backpacking?

What is the obsession with Australia. None of their top talent will be coming over.

I think over the coming years Australians will become a bit of a rarity in the English game.

Not because of the good work of the quota but because our finances wont compete with the NRL cap

Probably just sorting the deal with ISC the way things are going right now.

Hopefully though, he'll announce that:
1. We have secured Billy Slater and Greg Inglis on 3-year loan deals, with their Aussie clubs paying 95% of their wages.
2. Gareth Thomas to join the training staff (running an OAP's tag-rugby team to compete in the Welsh league)
3. Iestyn Harris IS to join Wigan, but only as the club's new kicking tee (with a stipulation in Pat's contract that he should miss the ball a MINIMUM of twice per match)

I can live with that, especially points 2 and 3.
