who thought it was a great idea to tackle the Saints mascot Boots last night in front of a lot of kids. The kids got really upset, wasnt just Saints kids but a lot of kids with all other club supporters too, as they were waiting to have their pictures taken with the "cuddly bear". Incident happened at the back of the stands where you get your drinks and go the toilet. Was seen by a lot of people and apparently there will be a complaint made.

Although the mascot didnt fully fall over he did damage the soft tissue in his knee and then having this idiot chanting Wigan at both him and the waiting kids doesnt do our club any favours.

Sounds like a practical joke gone wrong. I doubt the people who did it had those intentions. Don't be so sensative.

Sorry to hear what happened. No doubt an idiot trying to be funny and taking things to far. Although who would they make an official complaint to exactly? can hardly hold us or the club responsible for it

Dont know really. Just letting you know what I've heard. Still doesnt show the best side of our fabulous supporters.

No matter where you are in the world a club will have thousands of great fans who never cause bother but there will always be an idiot somewhere. every club has them. And if rumours are true about what certain leeds fans got upto last night i think if anyone should be concerned about their glorious support it should be them

Nope. I was still upstairs. But I can guarantee that it happened. South stand, roughly 4 or 5 entrances up.

The wigan fan involved was with a group of three others and wasn't a kid either. Mid-twenties, brown mingled top and an obvious berk.
Dont believe me? Please yourself. But this sort of crap isnt what Wigan fans are about for me.

No none of them ~ just the chanting of Wigan, Wigan etc.

And no it isnt alleged. It was told to me by the person in the mascots suit. Happens to be my other half.

2. We don't know who they are and whether they actually post on here.

It's a bit of a pointless thread.

Hopefully if any offence has occurred there are enough people able to identify the idiot.
