Wigan fans have shown their loyalty over the years .
Cast your mind back 3 years when they were in danger of relegation yet they were getting gates of 15,000.

If we get an average next year of 14,000 we will be doing very very well.

Appalling.

You're all getting on your high horses but if it was any other club in the same position the crowds would have been something similar. The current playoff format, plus the pricing structure, especially just a few weeks after Wembley plus a lot went to wire away, was always going to mean poor attendances in the playoff games.

I was working, and was not spending 20 pounds on a game we were going to cruise. Get over yourselves, creaming your pants when Wigan get a low attendance, Pathetic.

Get over yourselves guys. Not everyone can afford to attend every match and the play off crowds are always lower.

We've broken attendance records this year and have the best support in the league.

Wigan fans are amazingly sensitive over their crowds. If I was you I'd just take it on the chin and accept it as being a poor effort by your supporters and look forward to next week instead of making excuses and trying to turn it around with irrelevant comparisons to other teams.

When everyone's done rejoicing maybe they can take a minute to think about the bigger picture. If the best supported club in the game can only muster that then there's a big problem somewhere.
