We only shout Wigan Wigan Wigan so I got told.

It really took off at times, could see it getting picked up over in the East stand too. Bit of a shame when I looked left and saw the West stand being dead.

Conroy to thank for that although I hear we may have to review a waver in the stand. The 2 sticks and hand held stuff looked class and it all passed off without any problems so S2 may be our new block.

Looked really good. You should see people increasingly migrate to that section in good numbers, next week and next season (as long as all goes well with the club officials).

To be honest I was expecting some noise from the South stand today but we never heard anything really at the away end. We could hear the East stand chanting WIGAN now and again. I thought we were going to be in for a rendition of the song the Brigantes have been singing lately, the one you sing over and over again.

Shame the rest of the stand was so empty.

Sadly Suzy, attendance is another victim of recession and bad planning. All 4 stands looked terrible on attendance, and 12'000, less than half we'd normally get for this fixture.

I have a season ticket and have been to all cup games and the majority of away games this year. I couldn't afford my tickets for today, but went anyway with my overdraft. I am in two minds about whether to fork out again next week. If they put an offer on for reduced prices to season ticket holders or something then I would more than likely go, but it's too much to pay out every weekend.

Noise doesn't travel well at all from the south stand. Next time you are at the DW, take a look at the roof over the North then the roof over the south. The North has a solid roof whereas the South has a plastic roof.

Plastic roof metal roof doesnt matter i think we both turn deaf ear to other ends, im suprised u were allowed take sticks with flags in ground everywhere we seem go they are like little hitlers, long as isnt obstructing anybody wheres the harm. anything that mates the banter and atmosphere better bring it on, Got admit your flags are impressive pity every game isnt a Saints v Wigan game. Keep it up your livening the games up and were trying to keep up with you.

Wigan had a bit of a head start, so expect to be a step behind... But I, personally, look forward to seeing your efforts!

That could be the worst excuse I've ever heard on these boards

it's actually very true. Sound bounces off metal very easily, but is absorbed by plastic. It's due to the make up of the material. Think about it, look at an orchestra, the percussion are at the back of the orchestra, but covered have plastic between them and the remainder of the orchestra. As for metal, what material are church bells made out of?

Who was the drummer who had a y-pants bitch-fit when going past a few vocal saints fans behind the west stand about 15 mins after FT? youngish lad..
