It should be a close match, They have a big pack and they like to give the ball some air too. If you let them get ontop in the middle they have the potential to blow you away. Saying that I think wigan will improve and will still go into the game as favourites.

I thought today's game would be were we would show our improvement and put a marker down our selves . I personally think we won't reach the GF. Were are too fatigued at the business end. It will be either wire/saints or wire/Leeds .

We need to find some energy from somewhere, that's our problem. Everything wrong with Wigan today was a result of running out of gas IMO. The worrying thing is I don't think we'll be able to recharge the batteries again.

I thought before the game we needed to win and get a week off. That way I was confident we could defend our title but I think it will now sadly be too tough an ask.

Hopefully they can prove me wrong. We do have am amazing record in must win fixtures.

Totally agree. We needed the week off more than anyone. Know I feel it's only a matter of time until we're knocked out of the play-off's. I'd much rather that though, than scrape to the final only to completely fall to pieces and be embarrassed.

Shuddersfield have the same problem as us with a football game on Saturday. Eddie's "24 hour" rule doesn't exist. I'm glad we're Sunday and not Friday as the team need the extra two days.

I wonder if Catalan will make the trip over early in the week and go into camp, a bit like they did last time they played us! It worked for them last time, they blew us off the park !

Massive improvements needed for next Sunday, not just from the players but from everyone connected with the club. We need to get behind the team and show them we still believe they can do it. Saints gave everything today and only beat us by 8 points, but we havnt turned into a bad team by getting beaten today. The problem seemed they just looked flat and didnt look like they were up for the challenge. I dont believe they were tired and unfit, i just dont think they were motivated to get stuck in and win the ruck. We actually looked like a team that hadnt played together before and had no game plan. A worrying thing is why Madge took Tommy off when Deaks was clearly having a shocker. It didnt make sense to leave Deaks on when the scousers kept targeting him in defence and probably the best defensive half back in the world was sat on the touchline. I think this coming sunday will actually show just how good a coach Madge actually is. Will he drop Deaks and maybe play Lockers or Tommy at half back or will he gamble with the structure he had today? Either way after the Catalans game theres no second chance and it could be his last game in charge.
