Andy Wilson with more anti-Wigan propaganda....surprise, surprise!



That statement about Andy Wilson may be over the top yet you can't help but think he is enjoying every single negative word he can muster regarding Wigan.

I'd hate to have read one of his articles on Wigan from the 2006 season

See the final paragraph for more bitterness regarding us finishing top last year. Quite an amusing article until he then. Anyone know who he follows?

I'll never forget that Wakefield game. We were dire. Now I think we have at least 10 years of excellence to look forward to. We may not win a trophy every year but we won't have long stretches of mediocraty.

I have sneaking suspicion it might be leeds, he rarely has a good thing to say about Wigan there is never a wrong/bad word about leeds.
Just had a quick scroll through his tweets found nothing conclusive but during the cup final he was tweeting there isn't a single tweet about Wigan's tries not even Joel's wonder try, yet every time leeds do some thing esp. a try he's all over it, so that reinforces the feeling he follows leeds.

As he posts responses to his own blog under the name 'Roughyed', it would suggest he's an Oldham fan.

The guy is a Wigan legend. End of debate, turned a mediocre team into champions making only 1 signing in his first season, then backed it up with a challenge cup win.

I'm one of the people who replied to that artical, it was bad then, reading it now is just annoying me to be honest. Looking at my (user name must be mad) and what at the time was a lot of peoples view it was pretty obvious what was the main problem(s). Think my reply was just about spot on even if I do say so my self.

The main point about it being out dated coaching, the players good enough but beaten before they got on the field.

Being thrashed by Stains is bad enough. Being repeatedly humiliated at home by the likes of Wakey and Hudds (who weren't as good then) was just unbearable.

It was an appalling period and some of the performances weren't simply bad, they were gutless. It was an utter disgrace to the proud history of the club.



Thank God those days are gone and I pray that they never, ever return.
