| Great read Biko! Reading that article and listening to Kokomo by the Beach Boys has got me all excited about the game.
Totally agree in regards to the mental side of things. At one time I'd have been worried about Wigan's mentality going into this game, but with Madge in charge that not a concern. What is a concern of mine is Wigan really wanting to win this match, last year I thought Leeds were guilty of wanting to win the cup to much and then became unstuck because of it.
As for Leeds scoring points against us, it's all about us controlling their offloading game, do that and we'll win.

| Another Great read. Thanks Bilko.
just to add to the expectation, here is a stat that our own 'Rugby God' came up with, which I found very interesting and more than a little surprising; .........
"When the results came back from Ian Proctor I was shocked.
Of the 25 teams that have played in back-to-back Challenge Cup Finals since the Second World War, only one has returned to win after losing first time around! For the record, that was the Wigan team of 1984 and 1985."

| These previews always make me feel confident and this was no different until I scrolled to the refs stats. With Bentham in charge we've won only 10 of 26 games losing 15 and drawing 1 although we are unbeaten in 4 games with him as ref this season.
I get the feeling he could be the ace card for Leeds on Saturday but as long as we turn up in the form of recent times even he will have a job to deny us.

| I seem to be alone in thinking this could be a very close one, and being edgy about the result. Leeds have come out firing against us both games this year and done well to stifle us and suppress our usual game. We've been lucky to get any result against them.
If we're on form and can play our game we'll win. If we slip even slightly (or Leeds stifle us) and Leeds are on fire, it could be a different story.
But - I also think we've improved as the weeks have progressed. I just hope that is proven on Saturday. Feecckkkkkkk I'm nervous.
Sinfield is really 31? Still think of him as a kid. A big miserable stroppy kid.

| Great read Bilko. The first 2 paragraphs sum up how I feel. Will be nervous and know in a one off game anything can happen but feel we can do it. When we got to the Grand Final I thought it was a year early for us and didn't expect to win. The cup semi against Saints I was very nervous and didn't enjoy a minute of the game because I just wanted to see us at Wembley again. Now I believe we can go on and win it.
