Dont think i have ever known a situation with so many head coach positions not certain for next season.

We have not announced our coach, Matterson is leaving castleford, Kear leaving wakey and now Morgan leaving Hull KR.

Add to this Salford, who appear to be the only club to have moved quickly in sorting out and announcing their coaching position.

Morgan to CAS , Noble to KR and Harris to Wakey is my guess

I heard yesterday that Iestyn Harris is going to be named as our assistant coach under Shaun Wayne, don't know what to think about that to be honest if true. Next season is surely going to be interesting with 4 or 5 teams having new head coaches.

Yeah that's what I thought, I mean one positive is that he has more coaching experience than that of say Paul Sculthorpe who has also been rumoured to be a candidate, but it still doesn't fill me full of confidence

Agar to Wakefield seems to be a solid rumour, so that also opens the Hull job.

Hope not, Hull could be a frightening team with a decent coach.

Would be a decent move for both parties.

I think a coaching team of Wane with scully and harris as assistants wouldnt be a bad team.

Harris is clearly a number 2 and niot a head coach and scully is well respected in the game so could have a good influence on the younger members of the squad

I honestly think Hull would challenge for both trophies if Madge, Wane and Bitcon were in charge of that team. They have some great individual talent and some are still performing well under Agar.

I would have Yeamon, Briscoe, O'Meley and Houghton (sign this guy!!!!) in our team any day of the week.

Just watch Salford become a solid top 8 team next season under their new coach. If every super league team had a class aussie coach who knows the modern game then we would have some sensational entertainment on every week.

As someone else said, they will probably just sign Noble, finish 5th-8th ish and win a play-off game then drop out while beating a few of the big boys along the way. I think the players and fans especially deserve far far better than that.
