Well after yesterday we have to get back down to business in the league! I'd expect to see a couple of changes to be honest. For me Lima deserves a rest, he has been immense over the last 3 months and has been playing long minutes, we need to keep the first choice pack fresh for the semi who ever this may be against. It's a big game this one because hull have been in okay form recently. Lets keep Georgey fresh for the semi, he still seems to have that leg strapped and I'd be tempted to let him have a week off. I'd also rest hansen. I think hes the only second rower not had a rest over the last few weeks, let him have a week off because he left nothing on that field yesterday, he ran his blood to water. I just don't want us to risk any injuries and overburning of players, we need to be sensible if we are going to go for both trophies.

We've got the likes of Cross, Fielden, Farrel and Marsh waiting in the wings it'd be foolish not to use them. Correct rotation of the squad could make the difference between accomplishing the double or not.

The 4 who missed out yesterday (Cross, Farrell, Marsh and Fielden) should get a game. I'd rest Coley, Hansen, Carmont and Lima.

Give a rest to Coley, Hansen and Mossop, they've all got through a ton of work this season and we're going to need to rotate the pack if we want to win both trophies this year. Farrell in for Hock because IMO he's the better player at this stage, give Hock a game in the reserves to build his stamina, hopefully his defence will improve as a result too. I was half tempted to advocate giving Deacs a rest and giving Logan his debut but that's probably a step too far against Hull. We saw earlier in the year that they can give us a game when they turn up and we get complacent

Tuson's out for 6 week with his knee.

I don't think many players need a rest but we should due to our strength in depth. Bring in Cross, Fielden and Farrell for Hansen, Mossop and Prescott or Coley.

Desnt matter what team you put out,you'l still do us and hopefully it pushes the imbecile Agar closer to the sack.

He's our gamebreaker.. Sam would defo want to play - but given the choice of being fit for a semi or picking an injury up on a Friday in Hull would put it in a way he could think about it proper I guess.

We're now in the midst of Cup fever, in which circs it can be uncomfortably easy for a team to briefly (and fatally) forget the importance of the league.

It'll be a couple of quid more but you will be able to yeah.

According the other Wigan forum. Hansen's being rested and Farrel is playing against FC. Good move, Hansen's worked tirelessly of late with some stunning defensive performances and encouragingly he's been a real handful with ball in hand also.

Hopefully we'll see Cross in for either Lima or Mossop, and Marsh in for Carmont. It would be nice to see Deacon get a rest also and assuming Fielden's pectoral is ok, I'd like to see him get a run out as well.

Think we may see Cross in for Prescott, heard hes still struggling with an injury.

I think Hock should start and get as much gametime as possible. A match-fit Hock for the end of the season would be a massive bonus. Start Farrell and Hock in the SR with Hoffman on the bench and give Hansen a rest. Elsewhere, resting Carmont may be an idea but he had a week off against Wakefield and he seems to be ok as long as he gets 5 days+ between games. Cross should be in as well. For people who have seen a lot of him, anyone reckon Mellor could be worth a shot to give Deacon a week off?
