| with gleeson almost certainly gone carmont, coley, hoffman, Richards, marsh , prescots contracts up at the end of the year what wud u like to see happen. for me we must try to keep hoffman richards for a few more years . Bring in a new prop and centre to replace carmont n coley . Put Charnley in the other as i think he is going to be a fantastic player . I wud like to see sam back at 6 and a world class full back in the team ( i dont think sam is the answer at full back )keep prescot dont think he is doing a bad job not to sure about marsh . Ben Davies , Karl Pryce , Eamon O'Carroll are also up at the end of the year i wud defo let pryce go he just hasnt got the passion for the game anymore not sure about o'carroll as he hasnt played for a long time now but isnt a bad player when fit if they can get him wright ?

| Gleeson- Defiantly imo won’t be a Wigan player next season & should be replaced from within.
Carmont- Could be an option for another season but I’d love to see a big name replacement
Coley- If he leaves he’ll be replaced from within
Hoffman- It’s still early days but he’s playing well, seems to enjoy it and we’ve got the option already set up.
Richards-A very bad injury but at 28/29 and after the year he had last season I’d be very surprised to see him move on. He’s a key team player and I’m sure Madge & Wane will want him around as it will make their jobs a lot easier.
Prescott- Should be signed up tomorrow as he’s playing out of his skin.
Marsh- Has proved he can provide cover and he’ll probably stay.
That’s only Coley, Gleeson leaving with a possibility of Carmont as well.
Hardly massive changes as many will be replaced from within.

| Good sides keep the changes to a minimum and keep a consistant squad. I think it's safe to assume Carmont will be moving on after Lenagan admitted as much and Gleeson obviously looks to be a goner so thats an area we need to look at. I think we should be looking for a top line overseas centre to ply alongside one of Charnley/Marsh/Pryce.
Everyone else in the squad like Richards, Prescott, Coley etc I would like to see stay on as they're important members of the squad.

| If as expected Gleeson has departed we need a quality centre to replace him especially if George is to retire next year. Preferably we will get a replacement this year. Our attack has looked less impressive without him in it.

| Prescott's playing well... But I'm worried about the skin over his eyes. It seems to be made of tissue paper. He seems to be cutting his face open every single game.

Bang on Sr. Wood. The quicker we get a quality centre, or Gleeson, back at 3 the better.

| Gleeson [iRELEASE[/i
Definately won't play for Wigan again
Carmont [iPOSSIBLY RETIRE[/i
TBH I'm not sure, part of me says let him go whilst the other wants to keep him. See how he goes for the rest of the season
Coley [iPOSSIBLY RETIRE[/i
Hope he stays for another year
Pryce [iRELEASE[/i
Should of been let go ages ago. Get rid.
Deacs [iRETIRE[/i
Will retire
O'Carroll [iRELEASE[/i
Purely because of injuries, I think we should release him
Hoffman [iBACK TO NRL[/i
Will go back to Melbourne
Marsh
Give him a new deal (1 or 2 years)
Prescott [iRELEASE[/i
Let go.
Richards
Sign up for a further few years
As above, IMO we could lose up to 8 players at the end of the season. If that happens then Yes it will be a big overhaul but if it doesn't then No it won't need an overhaul.

| Again release Prescott and replace him with who?
With the possible return of Hock he’ll be our 3rd choice prop. Who realistically would we sign as a third choice prop who is better than Prescott and why would we bother?
Wire have Wood, Saints have LMS, Leeds have Burgess and Hudds have Keith Mason/Griffin.
Prescott is defiantly in their league.

Personally I'd use Hock* as his replacement. I just don't think he's good enough/big enough for prop at a top SL side, I agree he has his good games but I've said it before there's just something that I don't like about him. I'm no 'Prescott-hater' he is a decent player, but I just doubt he's good enough for one of the top SL sides.
* May be jumping the gun and presuming Hock will fire on all cylinders straight away, but on his day Hock is 10 times the player Prescott is. Obviously I'm basing this on 2 seasons ago (Or whenever it was he last played).

I'd be happy with that as most of the guys we've released will be replaced with good young talents on much cheaper wages e.g. Gleeson-Charnley or Coley vs Davies.
It certainly leaves us some cap space to play around with

| If Coley AND O'Carroll leave, IMO it'd be a bit silly not to replace one with a new prop. Or at least promote Crosby/Davies (which is probably what will happen anyway)

Absolutely ridiculous. Prescott has been one of our best props so far this year, he's really stepped up when other props have been out. He may not be amazing, but what do you expect. You can't have 4 James Graham's or Adrian Morley's. You need a couple of great props but then a couple who may not set the world alight, but will get you your 10 yards every time. Letting go of Prescott would be a mistake.

He has, your right, I'll just re-post what I said on the rumours thread;
Quote ="100% Warrior"I agree with that, and that may seem a little strange as in one hand I'm saying get rid (though not as harsh as that!) and another he's our second best prop. There's just something about him that doesn't quite fit, IMO.
Having said that I am more than happy to sit here and be proved wrong on this via his performances.'"

Forgot to add I'd sign Hock, a centre, and if Richards retires then a full back with Roberts moving to the wing.

| If sam doesnt stay at fullback, gleeson goes and carmont retires and pat possibly goes we would be in for a massive reshuffle in the backs!!
1. Roberts
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?
Yeah we have Goulding, Marsh, Charnley & Pryce but other than Charnley any of them have yet to show me that they are good enough to be in this team as first choice. Yes Goulding earned the number 2 shirt from last years form but he has been very quiet this year so far, exposed against a class team in St George Illawara, and is he any good without Gleeson? I honestly havent noticed him playing at all this season. Marsh.. hmm seems to be improving as the weeks go by but he's not exactly taken to Super League well in the way that the real good youngsters do i.e. Sam Tomkins, Kallum Watkins, Rhys Evans etc. and as for Pryce, despite all our problems in the backs we still havent brought him back from loan at Quins, makes me think we wont be re signing him, as much as I would like to see him given his chance right now.

That might be a little harsh, he's still playing in exactly the same way he did last year making plenty of metres from dummy half and running the ball back fairly well. No winger can score tries without the ball. Has he even received a pass off Marsh yet? He might not be a threat in the air like some other wingers but that's the fault of the daft decision making from the halfbacks who constantly kick cross field to him when he's our smallest outside back. There's no point having a winger who costs more money when they still won't get the ball.

| Coley has been our best prop for the last two years and has started this year in the same vain. Whilst ever he plays like this i would keep resigning on a rollling one year deal until HE decides its time. Getting rid isnt an option for me and attempts must be made to keep him on.
