do u miss the traditional rugby league ground or prefere to sit and watch is it the same ???

do not know about the original topic, but as a barrow fan i hate going to places like widnes where i have to sit, worse still is grounds like rochdale where they dont fill one side, and it haas a bar in the top of the stand, built for coprates.

Any Wiganer will tell you Central Park was of legendary proportions. One of my favourite games was England vs Fiji in the 1995 World Cup.

Easy, Central Park every time, too many memories to single one out, the noise on the pop side outside the Sullivan bar was immense, happy days, and badly missed.

You will never recreate the atmosphere of CP but the DW or JJB ( whatever the hell you want to call it ) is gaining it's own atmosphere.

getting pi55ed wet through on the pop side 'cos you couldn't get under the roof when it was raining, aching calves from stretching to see,standing ankle deep in the stinking pi55troughs that were the river caves, the fantastic atmosphere......Central Park every time!

Miss CP? It was the greatest ground in the world. The atmosphere with a big crowd on was unbelievable. It was a venue of legends. Every time I go to the DW I think about CP.
