I notice people are looking at the depressives of the last couple of games. But hey heres some positives.

-we are un beaten
-we have the best p/d
- we are missing the current mos and arguably our best player
-we are without a world class half back would would add a good kicking game and experience to the side.
-we are able to grind out wins (bradford and Salford)

very true. its easy when things happen to forget about the bright points (I'm guilty of doing it myself) but we're still champions at the end of the day!

I see no depressives from the last 2 games..

We got beat by a great STG side in a close game without 5 first teamers.

tonight we were clearly tired but still put 32 points on our oppo away from home.

I find it quite encouraging that we didn't play well yet still won. We can't expect to be at our very best every week, particularly after a game like we had on Sunday. I'm nothing but confident about the season ahead having seen what I've seen from our boys this year.

We've got a real tough run coming up soon, which will be a great test of just what we can do. And I'm pretty sure we'll come through it with flying colors.

The fact that we've so many great players who've yet to figure for us so far this year, is also extremely encouraging.

I would say the main positive is that we can still better the start from last season when we were champions.

Win the next two games and we will have 9 points from 5 games. We will also have a game in hand at home over the other teams. We should beat Hull next weekend but Hudds will be a tricky game. I think we can do it though, it would be fantastic if we could go top of the league having played less games.

We have more than enough positives to look at, just take note of the amount of Wigan talent in the team. We all know that even a trophyless season this year would not be the end of the world, we can remind ourselves everyweek that this team will get better and better.

Fielden, Finch, Roberts & Richards would all get into the majority of SL teams.

Great teams play badly but win and that's what we are doing right now.

Add the above 5 named players to the team and we will see us kick up a few gears..

It's still very early, players still missing and were still getting the points. No need for concern, it's going to be a difficult one this year though as all teams will be out to get us even more so, just enjoy the ride guys

I had no feeling last night that we would lose. We did enough to get by and that will do for me. The players now get a long weekend off [Some going on a quick Holiday such as Pat Richards and will be good and ready for Hull FC come next Sunday.

We need to win that game as our next 3 games are massive and all against our potential top 4 rivals Huddersfield, Wire & Leeds. I think if we come out of the next 4 games with maximum points we'll be in good shape to finish top of the pile again.

There's that term again, 'world class'. I wonder at times how many players some people would term 'world class'. For me its simple, pick the best team in the world 1-17. They are world class. If we're calling Finch world class how many other players do we need to put in that category? 50?

We had over 1/3rd of our salary cap not playing.

We cant complain really we have had a bad run with injuries suppose its our turn really as leeds,warrington,stains have had the past few years but the thought of the team at end of march hopefully all fit is a scary prospect for most teams who face us.

Would love to get finch paaat back for wire game but it is scary times ahead for the rest of super league imo
