It was on smooth FM this afternoon that according to, I think they said it was the Oldham coach, that following the earthquake in Christchurch he had been unable to get in touch with Frank Endacott who was apparently in the region of the earthquake and after shocks and that he was worried he could be a victim.
Sincerely hope this doesn't turn out to be true.

but
"Christchurch resident Frank Endacott, who lives just outside the city, said that the earthquake was so violent he could not stand up, and that he found his 80-year-old neighbour as white as a sheet after the tremors stopped.
Endacott said it was the most frightening experience of his life, adding that he felt a "total sense of helplessness."

I met Frank last year at a Wigan U20's game..
Really nice bloke and fingers crossed he is ok.
My thoughts are with everyone in New Zealand at this Sad and difficult time.

Yeh i have friends in christchurch thankfully they are all OK, went out there a few years ago beautiful place going back later in the year
Terrible pictures though, the city centre is ruined
