| I'd give him a one year contract. Just to give Wane more experience.

We're changing the culture then from what we have now, to what Bennett wants, to what Wane wants which won't be far different from what we have now.
When Madge goes, Wane comes in. Simple as that.

| I'm all for Wane taking over after Madge has departed. But like the Priestman I'd love to see Wane go over to Auz the year before he's due to take over from Maguire, to hone his skills, as well as gather the latest techniques and methods doing the rounds in the NRL. Wane having a year under Wayne Bennett in the NRL would be great.

| Massive Wane fan, me. Intelligent, shrewd rugby brain and a mental attitude hard enough to sharpen steel on. And, of course, bleeds cherry and white. I'm not convinced that by the time Madge leaves Shaun Wane will need any coaching mentoring, and I think that's what Wayne Bennett is majopring in these days. Love bennett for his help to make NZ world champs, though!

| It took Bennett 20 years to get to Sydney! I think a move across the world is a step toofar.

| It's a scary thought having Wane in charge of Wigan in 2 years time. He's coached Sam Tomkins, Mossop, Farrell, Tuson, Charnley, Davies and Mellor week in week out at U20s during the period they went unbeaten for a large amount of games before he moved up to first team duties. There's probably more players too but I picked out these names because in 2 years time I believe these 7 will be heavily involved in the first team (Tomkins, Farrell and Tuson already are!). They will all thrive off Wane as they respect him massively and perform under him.
