Did anything ever happen to the Aussie sports stars (rummored to include NRL players) that got tested possitive for a banned substance?

That story says it all. They were outside an international doping agency period and they need the athletes for London 2012. The NRL players were probably all internationals that they needed to beat us again.

This shows really doesnt it. Sort of like the Cunningham one isnt it? If its not by the international doping agency then they just make it go away. Though I think that was more of a "oh no we messed up" seeing as the guy who supposedly gave it him without his knowledge was of course an RFL employee as well as Saints if i remember rightly.

Ive always wondered if there are certain "older" players who use the same thing that was found in Cunninghams system due to the whole "faster recovery" thing.

With regard to the spot fixing it is in the hands of the police, so I believe. There was an article on the news the other day about a Canterbury player (IIRC) filmed placing bets at 5 or so different betting shops before the game. I think it has gone quiet because it is now a criminal investigation and the police are putting their case together.

I hope its done soon because one of those rumoured to be involved has obviously signed for a team in SL so I would hate it if it turned out a cheat was playing here when they shouldn't be.
