Good move for them really. Their chances of ever cementing a first team slot at Wigan were slim to none. So the fact that they can move on to another club where they will get a chance to play SL rugby is a good one for them. |

Wakey will do it though next season, good luck to the guys. If they perform and the club lose their license they should pick up another club in 2012.

No wonder we never win anything, letting all these top class kids go instead of moving the deadwood thats infront of them like Joel Tomkins, Sean O'Loughlin, O'Carroll, Prescott, Sam Tomkins, Michael McIllorum, Liam Farrell.

BBC mentions they are both 20, so unless they are in the first team next year they would be an overage player (3 allowed in the under 20s), so they had to be let go or go on loan, no point loaning out player unless you think they will be in the first team in the next 12 months
