| When the final hooter sounded and the players began their celebrations just look who was on the field celebrating with them as if they had played
Ainscough, Vievers, Howarth and Walker.
They won't be at Wigan next year, but they obviously felt part of the victory. That says an awful lot about the team spirit and camaraderie that has been built up within the club.

| Wouldn’t necessarily say it was one of the most pleasing things, but I take your point and agree that you can see that the team/squad ethic comes before anything else. I am starting to believe that this team/squad has a seriously good attitude that could achieve great things.

| Whilst Lockers is being interviewed by Bill at the end of the match, in the back ground on the right Ainscough and Madge approach each other during the celebrations, at which point Maguire leans into Shaun and has a word with him before they both embrace each other with a hug. I'd be interested to know what was said between them. Whether it was just a simple thank you from Maguire for the effort you've put in Shaun, or whether it was something more.
Maybe I'm just reading to much into it.

| One of the more pleasing things from Saturday was a quote from big fat Gary Schofield
"A huge slice of humble pie for me! Well done Michael Maguire and well done Wigan. A team of champions "

I said the same - Ainscough looked so chuffed to have landed the big one although he didnt play. Felt sorry for him in a way that he is leaving.

| Do all the players in the squad get a grand final ring - or is it only those that played on Saturday night?

| We didn't collapse when the game was pretty much won after 20 minutes like we have on 2 or 3 occasions this year.

I have said all year on here to fans of other teams who doubted Wigan that those defeats would teach us and have us prepared come the end of the season.
I remember saying the defeats to Bradford and Quins would turn out to be a blessing.

After the Bradford away game I started a thread saying that it would be a blessing in disguise and got laughed at... here we are not having lost one league away game since and crowned super league champions, to lose in that way taught us alot IMO.

| Watching Ainscough in particular brought a lump to my throat, he was bouncing all over the place from one player to another and couldn't have been more chuffed if he had scored the winning try and when they gave him the trophy to hold while he had his photo taken he just looked so proud. I know he wasn't the best under a high ball but neither was Carney. Best of luck at Bradford Sean hope you do well and also a big thanks to Bails you had some great moments and we'll never forget the 79th minute at Headingley a couple of years back when you dived over in the corner to get us the win, just wish they could had kept him at the club in some capacity as he seems to have the same work ethic as our man of steel

Well said.
I think Ainscough and Bailey will get rings. I think any player who plays a SL game during the winning season qualifies for a ring. Certainly how it is on Oz and I am sure that is how it started here in 1998 when we switched to the play offs. Never seen anything to the contrary.

I'm sure you'll get one providing you've played a minimum number of games. Not sure what that minimum number is though.
