Well.. another year and another award for our 'little cheating scumbag'

But Im going to put my neck on the line here and say every other team in SL wishes he was their little cheating scumbag etc!

He has really kicked on to another level this year, and in many ways has been unlucky not to walk away with the MOS - afterall its not every year your winger breaks a club legends points record for the club along with about 87 more records here, there and everywhere.

In reality though, Sam hasnt even been playing from his true position for the latter part of the season yet still walked into the SL Dream Team and won young player of the year again.

So another well done to Sam as his award may get lost under all the publicity as we have got both major awards tonight for the players.

Its took us so long to find our new Edwards or Lam - lets just keep him here for as long as possible.

As believe me, this man is going to be our new Edwards - without a shadow of a doubt. 1 and a half seasons played and 2 young player of the year awards, 2 dream teams, goldthorpe player of the season etc.

That five year deal, for a kid of such talent, must represent staggering value to us.

And what a bit of business it was by IL.

as said above. It's amazing to think this has been his first full season. Lets hope he fulfils ALL his potential at Wigan.

What a talent WELL DONE Sam huge respect

Eddie was comparing him to Darren Lockyer again last night. Sam seemed a bit embarrassed by it. Eddie asked him what position he would like to play in for England. Sam said he would play prop if necessary!!

The report I read on Sky Sports' website this morning stated that Joel Tomkins won the YPOTY. Well done Joel! D'oh!
