How good was our defence last night? There were a number of occasions when I was almost sure Leeds were in, but we dug deep and put in some of the best scrambling defence I've seen all year. Really proud of our lads.

Wigan's defence was bloody awesome last night they took everything that leeds thrown at them , but you couldn't help noticing that there was no late runners into the leeds line like a certain number 6 has done many times for them . to quote a god "it doesn't pay to cheat " and well done to Wigan and that solid defence !

Awesome defense!! I had to applaud the determined defence by both Carmont and Sam Tomkins by physicaly picking their man up dragging him to the touchline (Delaney and Senior was it?) plus the last ditch attempts to stop us getting over the tryline - bloody immense stuff which I had to applaud.

When we were 6-20 up I just felt that there was no way on earth that Leeds could score 14 more points. Didn't say it at the time as didn't was to jinx the lads, but it was do or die stuff on our own line. The support when we were forced to do repeat set via a drop out was immense in the 2nd half. Absolutely tremondous, was lovin it.

Weren't the best drop outs from Pat, sort it out lad.

Really was excellent yesterday; I'd felt nervy every time the defence was tested in the first period but the second half was something else, and the last-ditch efforts and will to win were simply outstanding. Thought Sam's defence was great at times, something that's been brought into question with regards him playing the Full Back roll in recent weeks, but he couldn't be faulted on many an occasion yesterday, very impressive work rate.

Awesome Incredible defence, if we repeat that at OT we will win..

It's a massive cliche, but most cliches are true - defence wins matches.
