i thought it missed too. what i cant understand is how the video ref gave it as a try, it was clearly stripped with 2 in the tackle . very dodgy decision for me

It Did miss and it was stripped with two in the tackle , nah it was scored and it was a loose carry , nah it was stipped and missed , nah loose and scored . oh well doesn't really matter does it , Wigan beat The Whino's let them have their dodgy 6 points it is not as much as 26 well earned points by the Warriors .

I dont know why the post judges dont stand at the side of the post like they used to they only had to look for one thing then that was did it go left or right of his post. They both look to stand at an angle to the kicker which cannot give the the view they are supposed to be looking at.
It does not matter as it turned out but that kick or missed kick could have been the difference to us winning or loosing. Watching it on sky last night i thought he missed it and thought the ball was ripped out but you have to go with the call of the officals.

Certainly missed but let them have it they needed all the points they could get last night!

can't say I really noticed anythind dodgy about the kick, I thought this thread was going to be about Sinfields conversion from whinging, bitter loser to gracious professional Rugby League Club captain. Not what I expected from him when I got to hear his post match comments. Fair play to him. Him and his colleagues just need to cut out the constant back chat and complaining to the ref. They're starting to look like a football team and we don't want that in our sport.

Yeah, to be fair Sinfield was very gracious in defeat. Hopefully the rest of his team and his coach in particular will take note??

Wigan were awarded a conversion against Salford earlier in the year that missed by half a mile so its swings and roundabouts - it's a good thing it didn't affect the outcome of the game (assuming of course it did miss, I didn't see much wrong)

First instinct was it missed, but having paused it on Sky+ at the right moment you can see the ball going through the posts. Its the poor low angle that Sky use which deceives the eye.

I dont get all this anti Sinfield stuff.

Sure people from other clubs question his ability etc but those of us who see him every week no how important he is to Leeds.

His so called moaning to the ref - He is the captain so can talk to the ref. Every team does this and I cannot believe the amount of other fans that derise Captain Kev for this. Your own Tompkins pair are quite good at doing this also and then there are the likes of Briers and Eastmond that are always trying to have a go at the ref.

What I certainly cannot believe is you being so surprised at Catptain Kev's post match speach. He is always very gratious and a very good and rational speaker after a game who gives credit where it is due.

Best team won last night,pure and simple as I said to Michael McGuire and Steve Hampson when bumping into them at the KFC at Birstall on their way back last night and also wishing them all the best for next week. Both seem sound guys.

p.s Sinfields Kick DID go over. I read the comment from a Wigan fan on our board last night questioning it and must admit watching the re run last night it does LOOK like it misses but I was sat in the Carnegie Seats right in line of the kick and it definitely did go between the posts.

Our season is over now and I'm sure plenty of your fans will take pleasure in gloating in that (looking at some of the other threads)

I like Captain Kev can be gratious in victory and defeat and have no complaints over last night.

Congratulations on your excellent season and from a Leeds point of view and indeed other clubs it is frightening to think that you could/should be even better next season with the additions McGuire has added to what in effect has still been Nobles squad this season

Seen it in both HD and SD. The SD looked like it went wide but on HD if you look frame by frame you can actually see the writing on the ball as it go's through the stick.
