walton swift of chorley (i think) usually run a couple

Walton swift are run by the club i thought.Im in car ample parking round the ground.

The Walton Swift ones are the official ones, think there was only one seat left as of about 4pm today out of seven official coaches.

Well, being over 60 we travel to Manchester free. Also I bought a railcard which means the price is reduced. It's a great price but we have managed to book with 'Big Mike'. We leave Halfway House at 1.30 pm and it's £10 each which is also a good price.

May I say thank-you to everyone who responded to my plea.

I still need coach space for 2 people, don't want to drive as I want to have a few jars, anyone any info on spare places?

One for you to bear in mind for in future when travelling on the train is that you'd have been able to the train for free as far as the final stop in Greater Manchester and then only start paying once you're over the border, likewise with anyone who buys the bus & train day saver tickets.

2. do the journey in sections.....
wigan to leeds = @20quid
but..........wigan to manc @3 quid........manc to leeds @10 quid

ever since all these different rail companies sprang up , its expensive if you go from one operators region into another.......but if you split the journey into legs, you save a good few quid.

example.....i went to Great Malvern in Worcester.

Ince to Great Malvern.....54 quid.
i went for £41

ince to manc
manc to brum
brum to G malvern
total..41 quid
