Hi there
I'm after some information re a dvd for the WCC Wigan v Manly 1987. I've checked Micron and they have it but it says the quality may not be as per standard dvd as it's copied from video. Does anybody have this dvd from Micron and if so what's the quality like?
It's a birthday present for a Wigan fan so I'd rather not get it if the quality is poor.

I presume the one I have is from Micron and it's OK quality (don't forget the game was in 1987 so the quality wasn't brilliant to start with)

I have this and no bother with mine. Yeah, I'll admit its not as good as an actual DVD for quality but it isn't bad enough to stop me enjoying watching it. For a comparison, it's just like watching a game after you've taped it off the TV.

It's as good as good as you'll get from that era before digital recording came about. Try and get the one with the Aussie commentators on. Hilarious!

I've got the Australian version and the Scrumdown/YTV versions. As all copying was done via video tape, from 1987 they are all of that quality.
