| Who thinks that Pat wont get it and we will get done again just like Barrett did when they somehow gave it to Roby. Ive a feeling its going to Morley or Roby.

| Very tough to call the MoS this season.
Paaaaaat has put in a season of such consistently high standards that it will achieve legendary status even at a club that has had some of the very greatest wingers in the history of the game.
Sam is playing RL at a very high level indeed and seems to be getting better and better as the business end of the season approaches. His form in recent weeks has been nothing short of sensational.
Both are genuine contenders for an all time SL side on their form this season and must be each other's biggest threat for the MoS. Both would be very worthy winners.
That said, a substitute for Saints will probably win it.

| I believe Richards will/should win it like almost every other Wigan fan but both Sean O'Loughlin and Sam Tomkins would be very justifiable winners from our club.

| From a purely neutral standpoint, I think Pat Richards would be a worthy winner, though Sam Tomkins must have every chance too!
You Wigan fans might not agree, but Ben Westwood is a model of consistency who fully merits a place on any short-list.

FWIW I totally agree, in fact I think I said something similar on the match thread on Friday night whilst watching their game against FC. This has undoubtedley been his best season in SL, but that is probably the case for most of their players. I'd put Riley and Monaghan on a short list too with Pat, Sam and Lockers.
1 - Pat
2 - Westwood
3 - Sam

| Do they announce a shorylist for the players to choose from? I can't remember how they handled it last year.
Also IMO if Amos had stayed fit I think he would of walked MOS but since his injury I don't see how anyone can look past Pat. He is an all round rugby league player.

Must be Pat, but I can see them giving Cunningham some sort of " Special Award " because of his retirement and past services etc, much deserved over previous seasons, but as for this season he has not done enough for MOS, even Saints fans will agree with that, I hope.

Actually, to be fair Westwood has been Wire's most impressive player this season and whilst I would say that Richards and Tomkins have stronger cases, the selection of Westwood as MoS wouldn't be an outrage of Roby/Barrett proportions.
