Getting rid of Dennis Moran and replacing him with Dobson was the first step. Probably the most crucial decision in that year.
Anyone think we'd have stayed up with Moran at scrum half even with Noble and Fielden on board? I don't.

As many others have said, Noble coming in was huge.
Even though he didn't win any trophies, he goes down as one of the most important and influential coaches we've had IMO.
That Tomkins kid isn't bad either...
