Not a complaints thread, just wondered if anyone had any insight as to why he was being so petulant last night?

He's normally a pretty decent player.

I thought all the ex Wigan players were like this last night. Maybe they are just a little bitter...

Funnily enough that was the only explanation I could come up with at the time too.

I would have said Wild was the worst last night though, I mean kicking the ball away when Sam went to pick it up, that was just childish.

Yea but that wasn't punishment though he (Wild) was being pretty niggly all game (but then that was clearly hudds' game plan). I just thought the whole kicking the ball away was incredibly childish and petulant.

The year we let him go, he was in the street where he lives queuing at an ice cream van, a couple of the kids from Jakes team were playing in the street and they asked him to sign their shirts. He refused!

Well it took you 5 attempts but you finally managed to answer the question in the OP.

As far as I'm concerned, Huddersfield deserved to win last night, but that doesn't ignore the fact that Wild was being pretty stupid at times. Kicking the ball away was just a petulent attempt at being childish. Had the clock not been stopped, he could well have been penalised for time wasting, but, as it was, it was just a silly little action with no real purpose.

You are correct. He does come across as being very bitter about being rejected by Wigan because he wasnt good enough.
